Don't let the church sound person cut the power to your equipment before pressing stop. The audio file will not finalize if power is cut to the unit!

Good thing I split the headphone signal and feed to the camera as backup.

Rather than running your R1 on AC, try powering it from an external battery. The Tekkeon MP3300 works well, and in my experience, seems like it will power the R1 for about a year. It works well with the M-Audio Microtrack.
