Sure, Theo. It doesn't require a PM. There's a website called www.theknot.com They have everything wedding. They are national (maybe Canada, too? Not sure) So they have all kinds of vendor catagories, any wedding vendor can pay to advertise with them (kind of pricey). They also have forums, and the majority of the brides to be are looking for, let's say, very inexpensive vendors (especially videographers, for some reason). So while you could get some leads and book some weddings, there are a whole lot of tire kickers in their mist. And the brides who sign up and use their forums call themselves Knotties. Yup, they came up with that name, not us.

The gist of it is that the Knot tends to nurture brides looking for videographers on the cheap.
Their user forums are ladened with comments like, "I'm not getting a videographer - they're obnoxious!" and "My videographer only charged $650 and he stayed until the DJ stopped playing music!" and "If you're paying more than $30/hour for you videographer, you're paying too much. My guy also gives me 10 DVDs!" and on and on and on.

So the the "Knotties" are a very... shall we say... "frugal" bunch and fairly unsympathetic toward our cause.

If you want to browse around on their forums (and earn yourself a quick migraine) go to www.theknot.com (http://www.theknot.com) and find their user forums. Do a search on "video" and read a few comments. You'll see what I'm talking about.
