So I got these 170's and 150's..We'll probably stay a little longer with them. So with that in mind I was thinking of getting some century optic's lens for them.

Any recommendations as the must needed types? I have the Wide Sony for the 170, but don't care for it that much. I usually fly the 170 on the GC4000.

But wondering if anyone out there is using say their tele photo lens, etc..

What are your needs?
I think the most common need is a wide angle converter, but if you have one already and are looking for something else, I would suggest the teleconverter or a fisheye.
I don't know what your thougts are as far as 16:9 conversion lenses and so forth. Frankly, I don't see these choices as apples to apples. It really just depends on what you're looking for.
If you are just looking for an excuse to spend the money burning a hole in your pants, then perhaps you can invest in a single-chip HDV cam for the balcony. You can pan and zoom the HDV footage and effectively create a second cameraman from thin air!

Patrick, I own all of those CO lenses. I use the .65x 80% of the day. The .03 fish eye is nice for a few shots and the 2x tele comes in handy too. The .55 is not a full zoom through so I don't use it much. Look on eBay for good deals. You can get the .65 for around $100 to $200 and the .03 for $300 to $500 and 2X for around $200.

Patrick, you might want to read this article that I wrote for Event DV about lenses. http://www.eventdv.net/Articles/ReadArticle.aspx?ArticleID=9998

Well I suppose I thinking in regards to the really long long long churches and a camera in the back if a telephoto is a good tool in the bag.. I like the Sony Wide but can't zoom very far with it. Fish eye is cool. Just wondering what others use as a standard for shooting say the ceremony..
