Greetings, BAPVA members and friends,
Tired of the same-old-routine? Lets take a field trip!
We will be meeting at YES Video's Santa Clara headquarters for
presentations and judging competition: bring your A-game video clips (and
keep them anonymous please).
Program:
* "Meet YES Video" - our group will get a private tour of this Santa Clara
DVD duplication and tape transfer facility. Our host will be Sharleen
Reyes
* JVC New HD products and demonstration- Philip Burns will be showing off
JVC's newest and hottest HD camera, the HD-250, along with their
affordable line of HD monitors.
* Video competition- please bring your best work for display and judging.
Winners get fame and glory.

Cost: Free to members and first timers, $25 non-members

Yes Video Professional Services offers full-service digital transfers to
professional videographers, camera and photo specialty stores and other
businesses at wholesale cost. There are no membership fees, upfront costs,
or minimum order requirements.YesVideo does not sell directly to its
customers and will not steal your customers or compete with your firm. We
will get a private tour and a behind-the-scenes look at the process and
technology involved in DVD processing,transfer & fulfillment.
JVC HD products demonstration: JVC Professional Products Company continues
to deliver affordable, high quality HD products to market with the
unveiling of the GY-HD250U high definition camcorder. As part of its
growing ProHD line, this next generation full HD resolution camcorder is
the first HDV model to offer studio capabilities, and features 720/60p
capture and recording for electronic newsgathering.
Responding to demand for an affordable studio-capable HD camera, JVC
developed the extremely versatile and compact GY-HD250U to ease the
transition from SD to HD allowing customers to utilize much of their
existing infrastructure—including cabling—while providing robust
performance in both standard and high definition. In addition to its
studio capability, the GY-HD250U offers the comfort and stability of a
shoulder-style camcorder with a full complement of features needed for
Electronic News Gathering (ENG), and cinematography applications.
