Im driving my self nuts here, clicking and dragging, clicking and dragging.

In PP CS3 how can you add the same transition to all cuts across your time line with out clicking and dragging to each cut?

There MUST be an easier way to do this......

I'm not sure if this will work, but this issue was briefly discussed here

One or two clicks will do it in SpeedEdit.

There are two ways in FCP so maybe you might find something similar in PPro. You can make a transistion your favorite and then do a right click where the clips join. the other way is to put the transition in the timeline and then you can copy that transition by doing an option + click & drag. Hope Adobe does similar for you.

In the effects bin under "Video Transitions" right-click on the transition you want to use and select it for the default transition.

Scrub to the begining of your timeline then use "Page Down" to jump to the next edit then "Ctr + D" to add the transition, "Page Down", "Ctrl + D", "Page Down", "Ctrl + D", "Page Down", "Ctrl + D", "Page Down", "Ctrl + D", etc ...

I'm not sure there is a faster way.

Maybe in After Effects? That was the factory answer to everything when they demo'ed at LAFCPUG... :devil-smiley-076:

(apologies and condolances, I hardly ever do that... :uhoh:)
