In every Hollywood movie why does it seem like all the computers the people are seen using on screen are macs.
Just got done watching Miami Vice over the weekend and I saw 3 Mac laptops. 2 Mac Book Pros and a black Mac Book. :grinning-smiley-021

Nice. There is a Nissan commercial running here that features an iMac.

Because we are taking over the world Glen! :grinning-smiley-021 My guess is that the CPU's are just sleaker looking than PCs.

I just saw "Firewall" (w/ Harrison Ford) recently and it featured an Apple Cinema display and iPod. lol Though all his computers at work were DELL. How typical. :icon_confused:

Hollywood is nothing if it isn't chic...
There was a time a few years back when they said the easiest way to "get lucky" in Hollywood was to waltz into a Cyber Cafe with a new PowerBook Titanium. ;)
There is an active industry in product placement down here, and Apple is more than willing to play that game since design is an important component in their products.
I don't know what sort of deals are being made, but I'd venture that Apple is sought after because they have a trendy image. Getting their stuff on-screen isn't like trying to get the Minis in "The Italian Job" replaced with a Yugo... :grinning-smiley-021
